Every time we go to Alassio, we cannot fail to stop at Oliva 2, our favorite pastry shop. The owners and managers are a lovely family, always ready to help you with a smile on their lips. They have great coffee, which is very creamy and tasty. Their patisserie is very varied and always fantastic. Their 'Baci di Alassio ' are unrivaled. The best. Period. Recommended.
Possibly the best pastry shop in Alassio. Everything is elegantly and beautifully displayed in their window. They have a mix or small-size pastries from Northern Italy and from Naples, like their 'riccottino ' which is a version of Neapolitan pastiera, but also fantastic cannolis, and occasionaly the famed 'zeppole of San Giuseppe ', which are an Italian pastry consisting of a deep-fried dough bal, usually topped with powdered sugar, filled with custard with an amarana cherry (small bitter dark cherry in syrup) on top. They serve also sandwiches and other stuff: everytng is simple and honest but really really good. We had croissant and cappuccino, gelato and we bought a little tray of pastries for home. Everything was delicious!! They have the famed 'Baci di Alassio , they are 'rigorously ' homemade and among the best baci in town. Good staff, friendly atmosphere
