many special and original cocktails with an endless menu, would be to try all, and equally particular local. there is a minimum of 10 times to try different, I will definitely come back! View all feedback.
It seems that this hotel wants to be an island near alassio, but not part of it. Perhaps the local and some English-speaking guests are not as welcome as those of bentley or ferrari arrive. but this is a hotel, not a private club. It...is a wonderful story in what this hotel represents, and many of alassio rooted for it after being so long a derelict. but it seems they have not really learned 5 stars hospitality. today we had a very good lunch, perhaps a tade better and more in harmony with the Ligurian tradition than before. the service was friendly enough, but rather amateurish. a little hard, maybe, but if you want to be up, you have to act like that. a real 5-star hotel should shine in the way its guests are treated, even if they are only for a meal. yes, someone came by a few times and asked if everything was in order. but that's not enough. Maybe it's hard to rent experienced employees during the pandemic. forgive. but after we had paid our bill, we and no one realized that we had been there. if the experience is correct, no one from the hotel will read this critique. at the end of the day we will give our operation and our praise for those who work hard and appreciate their customers.
Amazing room, friendly and efficient service with thorough knowledge about any dish. very creative dishes, but the price is higher that other alassio restaurants I have visited.
The chef is fantastic wonderful pasta and perfectly cooked fish. her service is impeccable while they remain friendly. the lookout is great
It is interesting to react the negative reviews here and the failure of the hotel. this is a hint of the problem that this hotel still has: they can get a 5-star rating from government agencies, but they need to earn and maintain a 5-star reputation with the public. I am not born to the men or a master of the university, so that I try out 5 stars hotels occasionally and selective. I am willing to pay the high rate, but I really expect to go a premium experience with the premium price. most of us who love alassio are rooted for this hotel, even if the support and appreciation is not reciprocated. five star hotels in the Italian riviera are only a few and far between and mostly not up to the standard of their pendants in france, the Swiss and elsewhere. the fifty yard line location and the wonderful history of the hotel are valuable asset-worthy, but the hotel is still judged on what it can do for us now. the service is pleasant, but definitiw not 5 stars...yet our lunch today was an improvement, what we experienced two years ago. chef belgasi knows what he does, and all our dishes were presented attraktiw. some were more successful than others. service and the wine list are moved in the right direction. on the weeping there is a certain sign, but that is not falsified. their problem is that at this price point there are better opportunities in the city. the hotel could try to more welcoming for those who do not stay there. a year ago or two years ago, a very networked and interesting source beat away to improve their visibility on the British and American market. they said they weren't interested in these segments. this attitude will continue to be the majority of the empty ones we saw today for lunch.
Great dining in a gazebo overlooking the superb beach of our hotel the renowned Grand Hotel Alassio.
