Simple, no MSG, economical, HK style. I bought two dinners. The portions are big more than enough for more 3 people for less than $30 total. Difficult to beat the price for the amount of food in these days. It does not have an after eat thrust as they do not use MSG. The taste is decent enough. Nothing fancy but practical. What Ashwin Mehta doesn't like about Xing Yuan:
I was completely disappointed with the Jung Pai chicken - it had no flavor at all. The Mushi vegetable was decent, but I left the restaurant feeling very unhappy. View all feedback.
I love this place food is amazing and everyone is friendly.Love it!
Really good! Our go-to for Chinese on the island. Singapore noodles and string beans are especially good.
I love their food it so good the orange chicken is my favorite with some noodles and the spicy sauce ??
Good food, especially Chow Fun. The price is a little pricey.
My friends and I constantly look for the best Wor Won Ton soup at every Chinese restaurant we visit. Xing Yuan takes the prize as the best we've found so far during our 6 year search in the Bay Area. Their other dishes do NOT disappoint, although the lo mein (thick soft noodles) are a bit bland for my taste--nothing some hot sauce and soy sauce can't fix. I'd check out their lunch specials which are reasonably priced.
