Why Cook?
Description
Nestled in the waterfront industrial park, this restaurant offers a mix of fresh, flavorful dishes across various cuisines, including Middle Eastern and Mexican options. The ambiance is inviting, with comfortable seating both indoors and out. While some diners have experienced service lapses and food inconsistencies—such as dry burgers and soggy toast—many praise the catering by Why Cook?, which impressively exceeds expectations with beautifully presented, home-style meals. The breakfast selections, such as the bacon burrito, have received accolades. Overall, it remains a solid choice for casual dining or event catering, particularly for those in the area or waiting for flights.

Omg I ordered a teriyaki chicken burrito. It is too salty and not edible. Don?t waste your money here
I hired Why Cook? to cater an event for 75 people expecting good food. They delightfully exceeded my expectations. I choose BBQ chicken and pork. Wow!! The food was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend that you consider themwhen planning events.
Almost $10 for a grilled cheese sandwich that was 2 slices of the smallest bread (not even toasted) you can find in the supermarket filled with 2 slices of cheap not even melted cheese. Never again.
Delicious salad with a wide variety of options. The Chinese cracker adds an extra burst of flavor. Plenty of space to dine both indoors and outdoors.
Why Cook catered my birthday party for 50 people on a Sunday afternoon. The food was so much better than a typical restaurant! They provided great variety for a table spread that I didn't expect. No quickie dishes. These were like home cooking Mediteranian style. I won't hesitate to use them again. We also go down to the Alameda location for lunches. The outdoor setting is very pleasant and relaxing. Good work, Why Cook!
