Toomie's Thai By Thai Golden Rice

Absolutely fantastic! Toomie's Thai in Alameda never disappoints. The food is always hot, plentiful, and authentically delicious. Providing enough for two or even three meals. My recent pickup was perfectly timed (GrubHub)—hot and ready when I arrived. If you're looking for consistently amazing Thai cuisine, Toomie's is the place to go! Five stars without a doubt.

Got 2 pad thai ordersPros:Tofu was done well, order was packaged well, and staff was friendly.Cons:Noodles were soft (mushy) and there wasn't much sauce so it was kind of dry. Kind of bland and no lime.I'd probably give it another shot, but it wasn't a tremendous experience.

I used to enjoy this place a lot and always thought the food was spot on. Took my brother recently for a birthday dinner and when we were nearing the end of our meal. The waitress cut us off and asked us if we were done already. There place wasn’t really full of people. I realized while we were catching up and laughing that made her and the rest of the people there uncomfortable. We weren’t extremely loud but this is establishment puts emphasis on making certain clients more comfortable. Not coming back here anymore because if we can’t even enjoy our meal and get cut of while we are in mid-sentence it’s best to go somewhere else.
