I drove here 2 times from Oakland and both times they were out of bread . What? Bread is cheap! They can’t buy extra bread , so there is no turning customers away! They must be rich , don’t need more customers. View all feedback.
Stop looking, $13 prosciutto sandwich, go here. now. call ahead just in case they are out of bread.
Absolutely the best deli in the Eastbay. Food is delicious and very filling. Staff is friendly and inviting.

Nothing better... Perfection... Made friends first day... Now I'm there at least once a week
They have beautiful Parma prosciutto direct from Italy! I bought a lb of it to have at home and had a sandwich made as well. Everything was very reasonably priced and they carry lots of Italian imports. Their sandwiches are quality and the owners are incredibly friendly. How am I just now finding out about this amazing neighborhood deli!? I can't wait to try their imported hot coppa and homemade pastas dishes next!
