Julie's Coffee And Tea Garden - Alameda

Julie's is a nice local cafe with relaxed indoor ad outdoor seating. Most of the week, it's a mix of people using wifi to work on computers, people alone doing other quiet activities, and talking with friends. Weekend mornings they do a no electronics time and turn off wifi. They have coffee and teas, a small pastry case with 2-3 vegan items, and a small savory menu with a couple of vegan option salad/soup type things.

I love the green ambiente in and outside the shop. Although there are not so many vegan options, they are all delicious and clearly marked on the menu. ordering my favourites are the sweet potato hummus and brot along with a lavender limonade. the chia pudding is also the best, due to seasonal fruits. sometimes I even take a small plant from the load to house! updated by previous review on 2021-07-26

I love the atmosphere and the garden. I wish they had more vegan food. we have such limited vegan options in alameda, would love a local place I could go to breakfast or lunch

I come to julie a few times a month and always enjoy my coffee. julie has mandel, heel and soy milk options. the tee selection is also great. the vegan lemon chocolate cookies are delicious, as well as the vegan Cesar salad with crispy cherry pears.
