This place is great for a date night or to just hangout with friends. Service is solid. The wines are good (IMO) and the views are amazing! The outdoor setup and scenery are the main draws of this place for me, but that bay area weather can sometimes make it less enjoyable, especially once the sun starts to set and the wind-chill kicks up. The only reason I'm holding it at four stars is because they don't have a cons... View all feedback.
Quality wines! we love to watch for a tasting. very friendly staff and fun to see the wine process there in the camp.
Covid-safe outdoor tables and wines by the glass. Brisk winds off the Bay. Life is almost normal again.
Extremely friendly staff who love sharing the story about their wine and the winemakers. $10 for a 5 wine tasting specializing in dry riesling and zinfandel. There's an outdoor wine garden to sit or plenty of indoor standing area. Also they hold a handful of events each year ranging from paella cook nights to boating around the bay. Great place to go on a Sunday afternoon and enjoy some wine.
The wine, staff, and experience at Dashe are fantastic. They are known for making awesome zinfandels, but I particularly love their dry riesling. The tasting room staff is inviting and knowledgable, and the community of Oakland visitors and devoted wine club members are always a blast to get to know. Dashe offers world class wines right here in the East Bay.
A true hidden gem in Alameda! A great way to enjoy good wine made on location here in the Bay while enjoying a phenomenal view of San Francisco and the water. I have visited 4 times now and I'm coming back for more. Their wine is great! I have done 2 tastings and have bought multiple bottles of reds and whites to take home and have loved each one! My personal surprise favorite this summer was their 2018 Grenache but they have so much good variety. You can do a tasting for about $25 each person OR for a $10 corkage fee per visit, you can totally have them open up a bottle or more for you on the spot, enjoy them at your leisure and take the rest home. The staff team is wonderful. I have now spoken with at least 6 staff members in my visits and they have all been kind, knowledgeable and very attentive to their guests. I am not a wine club member and they make me feel like I am. The location is gorgeous inside and out. Theres no bad seat in the house. Outside is a beautiful patio with shaded tables and plenty of space. Inside is the wine bar with the great open view of all the wine barrels resting while you sip. The outdoor area is a great space if you have kids and it is also pet friendly. We brought our kids and our dog on a Sunday and were able to enjoy without worrying about making arrangements for them. You can bring outside food or you can order from different vendors they have on Saturdays and Sundays.
