What Stella So doesn't like about Bhan Mae Vane:
Mok Pla fish was not good. It's not fish fillet (as we expected), but it came out in a mushed paste. Side veggies for the dish were disappointingly not Asian (just steamed cabbage, carrots and broccoli). The Tom Yum soup was just salty and spicy and not very flavorful. Waitress took our order quickly but never came back to refill our water or check on us. She told us soup isn't spicy which was totally wrong! Ambiance... View all feedback. I probably wouldn't recommend this place for a busy Friday night if you're looking for something intimate, as it was very loud inside. It was actually refreshing to me so the kids didn't have to be super quiet. The restaurant is very family-friendly, with many families dining there. The service and servers were excellent and we will definitely be visiting again and frequently. View all feedback.
