Angel Fish Japanese - Alameda

Excellent! The Tonkatsu was incredibly fresh and piping hot, with a very generous portion size. It was served with delicious sides of pickled bean sprouts, carrots, and creamy potato. Additionally, it came with rice and soup, although I couldn't finish them. The pickup order was very speedy, ready in less than 20 minutes.

I have lived in Japan and this restaurant serves some of the most authentic Japanese food in Alameda. The sushi rice is perfect, with just the right balance of sweetness. The sashimi is always very fresh and expertly cut, with no gristle. The tempura appetizer over cold soba is a great choice on warm days, while the salt-broiled mackerel and ramen are perfect for colder weather.

The sushi was excellent! I just wish there was more spicy mayo on the tempura roll. Overall, it was a great experience.

The best Takoyaki ive found in the U.S..
