Alameda Free Library

This is an excellent library! It was mentioned by someone here that it is smaller than the Oakland branch, but how is that possible? When I was in Oakland, I was always amazed that a large city like San Francisco had a library that was not as big. I have seen prisons in movies that look better than the main department, and they are quieter than some homeless shelters. I came to this library from Oakland to finish my work, and I still come here to do work. The enforcement of wearing masks can be annoying at times, but it is understandable. The library is very clean, from the seating areas to the toilets.

The staff at this restaurant are always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend visiting and browsing the selection of books. Even during the most difficult times of the pandemic, the library was a helpful resource for me while I had to stay at home. I am grateful for the exceptional service that went above and beyond my expectations.

I really like this restaurant. It would be even better as a study space if the staff spoke in a quieter voice. Perhaps they are just so relaxed that they forget that a library is usually a quiet place.

Nice and clean. Now 2 hrs for computer time which is great. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Wednesday's is 10a to 8p.

This is an excellent place for you to access the internet or just books. Staff is friendly and very informed. I look forward to utilizing this place for studies as necessary. Just have a parking plan if you want to drive there.
