Choripanería Ovizam - Alajuela

It's OK, for a choripaneria the chorizo is not that great, food is average, location is really nice and staff was super friendly

I walked in and i like to sit at the bar. I was told it was full so I sat at a table nearby. The entire time I was there of the four stools at the bar only 2 where ever occupied, by the staff as the owner sat behind the bar. Apparently gringos are not welcome to sit there. I ordered the burger. It was nothing to write home about. I was given a little tiny thimble of ketchup for my fries while I watched the owner and her staff pour cups on their own food at their bar. Of my three weeks in Costa Rica it was the least hospitable place of all.

Here. Oh, my God, let's start with how amazing the owners are. then we go on how magnificent the chef is. wow. my espanol is muy time, but my English is notch. I don't have the words to describe how delicious this is. I've been following four days. on my last trip the chief with the greatest smile on his face after our main course made me a special dish with eating. I'm turning. I laughed, I cried, I was full and completely satisfied for the first time in my 41 years on the planet. I can't have enough great things about eating here and the people who work here. - what? simply amazing. pra vida viva la costa rica

Love this place! eating is great, price is not bad at all and the girl who works there is very nice to us. mostly I order a cut of meat, salate and carrots and it is delicious. choripan, it is also very good and cost-effective. I wish I could visit more often!

They do not have many vegetarian options, but they have a really big mushroom bug! also green limonade, so good! sat outside with view of the road. excellent service!
