Tasty House Cleopatra - Al Jizah

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Lunch was buffet. The food was only just warm. I contracted severe gastroenteritis from this meal (Doctor informed me probably from the fish). Very painful. After 2 days I was given an IV drip with antibiotics and fluids to recover. Every other meal has been at my hotel, which has exceptional hygiene standards without question, so it was definitely from the food at this place that made me ill.

Ate at the lunch buffet as part of an excursion and left with food poisoning. Our resort food and cleanliness was superb, This was the only time we ate outside and got terribly sick. Restaurant itself smelled of unchanged cat litter, strong ammonia like smell, which should have been a red flag. Staff only cares about money, we were asked to pay before we even finished eating at the buffet and staff huddled to count money in front of patrons multiple times during out brief lunch. You probably end up here without a choice as part of an excursion but I strongly suggest packing your own lunch to avoid food poisoning ruining the rest of your holiday.

This is a good restaurant in Cairo, with where I had meals during my tour in Egypt. it has a good view in the restaurant area. they can see the huge pyramids with their meals. there is a buffet and they can have different meals. the tasting of eating is something different for me, but not bad. there are different dessert options. toilet facilities. inaccessible entry here. bustling location a famous place among foreigners.
