This is a set meal restaurant near Akune Fishing Port, but the pricing is more geared towards tourists than everyday use. The Japanese spiny lobsters are larger and sweeter compared to those found in supermarkets, with no unpleasant smell. The Akune brand Hanaaji fish is rich in fat and satisfying to eat, and delicious. The daily assorted fish set meal on the blackboard is also recommended. The downside is the long wait time. On weekdays, you used to be able to eat without waiting in line, but recently there have been too many people. Even on weekdays, it's better to be prepared for a one-hour wait. There are plenty of seats and the service is not too slow, but perhaps because the portion sizes are large, the turnover is not fast. It's sad to see the ratings declining due to the increase in customers, despite the food being so delicious.

I visited Akune to pay my respects at my grandmother's grave and decided to stop by this restaurant. I had the sashimi set meal. Perhaps due to the influence of the novel coronavirus, I was able to enter without much wait. The staff's service was average and the fish was fresh and delicious. The staff communicated with each other in the Akune dialect (the intonation is unique even in northern Satsuma), which reminded me of my grandmother and made me slightly emotional.

海鮮丼に乗る紫雲丹の香りが口に広がる。 海鮮丼には珍しいほのかな酢飯も美味い。 太海蘊、荒布も美味しい。これで1,550円はお手頃ではないでしようか。 BGMは昭和の演歌でマッチしてます
