Upper Crust - Akron
Upper Crust
Description
In a busy Akron strip, this pizzeria impresses with generous toppings, stretchy cheese and a fluffy American pan crust when eaten fresh, especially at festivals. Inconsistent takeout and handling can leave pies greasy, chewy or lukewarm and salads wilted. The sauce is sweet and sometimes overly garlicky. Prices feel high and vegan or specialty protein choices are limited and costly. There’s only a single 12-inch pan size and no accessible restroom. Best for hearty, festival-style pizza lovers; less suitable for vegans, soy-free diets or those needing reliable takeout service.

It’s over priced you spend 50$ for a pizza and they hardly put any toppings on it. Just a waste of money
Tasted decent but not a good value for the money we spent. No place in it where I could wash my hands before eating. This neighborhood is supposedly welcoming but had to walk 4 blocks full of eateries and other businesses to find a bathroom I could use. Wouldn’t recommend visiting that neighborhood at all.
This place is an absolute JOKE. I ordered a pizza from them and paid $24 for 4 PIECES OF PIZZA!! What an embarrassment this place is! I called to ask if this was accurate and spoke to the most condescending jerk I’ve dealt with in a long time. This place should be ashamed! Plus the pizza was not that great.
??As a vegan, I hate that they don’t have more options. And the only vegan option is going to be the most expensive thing on the menu. The vegan cheese is an extra $6, but any regular pizza comes with free cheese. That’s crazy. Also, there are no soy-free protein toppings, and they too are each $6. Way too limited for the prices.
