Reviews - Nomz
Reviews summary
Noms is a vibrant Northside Akron café-bar pairing a sunny bar with valley views and a rotating local beer list with inventive brunch and lunch fare. Standouts include avocado and vegan sandwiches, chimichurri steak and strong coffee/smoothie offerings; $5 happy-hour Moscow Mules add to the appeal. It’s a friendly, unique spot with interior and outdoor seating, nearby parking and online ordering—though counter service can be busy, ingredient shortages occur, and food timing/quality can be inconsistent.

What a great little place down in north side. Had the avocado toast and a croissant sandwich and a farmers breakfast with family. It was unbelievably good! Easy to follow menu, friendly staff, great lattes and the food is just so good!! The toast isalso unreal. 10/10 recommend
Great place, right next to the Marriott Courtyard, downtown Akron. Prices are much better than the Starbucks franchise in the Courtyard (like half and a better selection. Great vegan items but my meat-eating friends were equally pleased. Carma is justone of the excellent staff who make it a great experience (just don?t let her tell you she?s 21! .
What a trip. This place is literally right next to my hotel and I had no idea. I've been vegan for 35 years and it's nice to see when the restaurant has a vegan menu period I don't usually breakfast but I thought to myself what the heck let's give it a shotsince I got a long ride home. I decided to get a Vegan egg bacon sandwich and a CBD sparkling lemonade. I only ate one bite andcan see why this place has high reviews. It's a wonderful combination of just egg bacon cheese and some caramelized onions Ithink. I would welcome the opportunity to stay here again and I'll definitely be getting lunch on my return trip. Check it outif you're in the area or in the hotel
Not only did Gabby and Malory make this an exciting brunch day, they made it the best one that I?ve had yet. I sat down enjoying the holy trinity (coffee, iced water (w/lemon) and of course, the mimosa alongside my vegan egg sandwich which was to die for.Gabby and Malory?s service, kindness and overall amazing drink making skills made it hard to leave. Very cost effective, awesomeand diverse options to choose from. If you?re looking for some Sunday noms to enjoy, NOMZ is the place.

Great first visit to NOMZ! The breakfast sandwiches we ordered (croissant, egg cheese and ricotta fig) were excellent and quite large portions.Shi made us fantastic coffee and a smoothie. Definitely recommend the cereal milk latte (I got the cinnamon toast crunch).Overall a nice place to sit and enjoy breakfast and coffee!
We read the fantastic reviews and were excited to try Noms, driving 30 minutes to get there. Unfortunately, we had to wait over 10 minutes just to have our order taken at the drive-thru. After paying, we were told it would take 25 minutes for our brunch order. Later, the bartender informed us that the wait for our food would actually be 50 minutes, which was disappointing. When the food finally arrived 15 minutes later, it was awful! The toast was the only thing that was somewhat edible. We ordered 2 strips of bacon, 1 turkey sausage (which tasted overcooked and like it was microwaved), 2 scrambled eggs (too much pepper and dry), and 1 serving of breakfast potatoes (which were cold, hard, and poorly cooked). The bartender was great—definitely a 5-star experience from them. However, we were very dissatisfied overall and will not be returning.
I ordered the Vegan Brunch Bagel, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely the best vegan sandwich I've ever had! I especially loved the homemade vegan bacon. Thank you, Charlie and Shy, for providing me with delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic experience. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of great choices!
Nom Nom at Nomz!Thank you Jaylin, our meal was perfect. My Masala salad was amazing. My daughter orderedthe grilled cheese which was also tasty. Thank you for making our visit to Akron perfect.Kid-friendliness: Chill and kid friendly environment. Quiet and family friendly. Board games available to entertain little ones.

Nomz is a fantastic place for a lunch break! Despite some menu limitations due to supply shortages, the dishes we had were excellent. The Tuscan Chicken and Vegan Pesto Chicken sandwiches were hearty and kept us full all day. While the pasta salad and potato salad could have been a bit more flavorful, the overall experience was wonderful. The coffee and smoothie bar were a highlight, featuring a delicious Green Goddess smoothie and a soy milk cappuccino with lavender. Be sure to browse the selection of local treats on your way out!
Nomz can be a little pricey, especially considering a fruit cup with just cantaloupe, honeydew, and two grapes costs $2.75. That said, everything I sampled, including the cantaloupe and honeydew, was delicious. The vegetable soup paired with the chicken sandwich made an ideal lunch combination. I personally enjoy more variety in a fruit cup, but overall, this place is excellent for a quick lunch or brunch. The bar opens in the afternoon, and they also offer vegan options.

Okay... I'm obsessed! I'll be honest I had no idea this place existed until last week. This astounds me because I'm always looking for new options near me. I'm vegan and I'm always on the hunt for a good sandwich... And most of all a good breakfast sandwich! It's pretty hard to find one around here that isn't just bread with some fake meat. I was floored when I stumbled across the menu for NOMZ... So many vegan options! The interior of the building as well was something I did not expect at all and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. It's very large, a beautiful bar in front of a window that overlooks a valley... It truly is beautiful. I tried the breakfast croissant and it was a 10 out of 10. I can't wait to go back and get it again! Although I will admit next time I'm tempted to try all three of their breakfast sandwiches because they all sound great. They have so many different kinds of events too. I highly recommend this spot and there is plenty of parking within walking distance.
Really cute place to grab some breakfast. Delicious breakfast sammiches. Definitely recommend the ricotta and fig. Lavender iced latte was good as well. Would come back here the next time I?m in Akron.
An excellent place to pop in for lunch! Due to supply shortages, they were out of some key ingredients which limited their menu options, but the food we chose was excellent! The Tuscan Chicken sandwich and Vegan Pesto Chicken sandwich kept us full all day long. The pasta salad and potato salad were a bit bland, but overall, it was an excellent dining experience! Plus, the coffee and smoothie bar produced a delicious Green Goddess smoothie and a cappuccino with soy milk and lavender flavoring. When you?re all done, there are a lot of local goodies to peruse on your way out!
What an experience! This restaurant is right next to my hotel, and I had no idea it was there. I've been vegan for 35 years, and it's great to see a restaurant with a dedicated vegan menu. I usually skip breakfast, but since I had a long drive ahead, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Vegan Egg Bacon sandwich along with a CBD flash lemonade. After just one bite, I understood why this place has such high ratings. The sandwich is a delightful mix of vegan egg, bacon, cheese, and what seemed like caramelized onions. I would love to stay here again, and I’ll definitely stop by for lunch on my return trip. If you’re in the area or staying at the hotel, be sure to check it out!
This is a fantastic spot for lunch or brunch, offering a wide range of choices for those with dietary restrictions. It's a small counter service setup, which can get quite busy, so be prepared for a potential wait. However, you can conveniently place your order online in advance.
