In our opinion, they serve the best food. The restaurant has a small dining area and a limited menu. I found it challenging to communicate with the wait staff. However, the food was worth it. Stop by and satisfy your cravings! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Machete Family:
The food at this restaurant is enjoyable, however, be prepared to wait a long time as the service is very slow. It is clear that the staff lacks experience in running a restaurant. Our party of four had to wait an hour for our food. View all feedback.
This is truly a diamond in the rough if your feeling for the taste of some authentic Mexican Food with a very welcoming environment. This place also serves anything from tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and many other options including breakfast! I got a the pleasure of trying their Machete and let me state this, if your looking for to be short of breath because you couldn’t stop eating because it was simply too good to put down knowing that you were already getting full by mid point into your machete then definitely come here! Thank you all for the great meal!
Had the 1/2lb bacon cheeseburger basket on special. It was a huge handmade patty with crispy edges. Just the way I like it. The bacon was crispy as well. They have the fat fries which were crispy and so good. I received my food 15 minutes after I ordered. Very reasonably priced.
Large portions and delicious. We had omelets and took some home. I sure hope you stay.
My son and I are there for lunch. It was very good. I had the club sandwich it came with chips and the soup of the day which was broccoli cheddar. My so had a Texas burger it was a 1/2 lb. of beef. came with fries and a bowl of soup. Also had chips and salsa before meal came. We were very pleased and will go back. You get a lot of food for the money.
The food was extremely greasy. I had three beef tacos and the grease you could just wring out of them. My husband had gorditas and they were so hard he had to pick the meat out to eat them and they were very greasy. My grandson had a grilled cheese and soup and the cheese was stacked up on there and not even melted.
