When you walk into this place for the first time, you may not be expecting the food to be as good as it is. My husband and I drive 45 minutes to eat here because it’s one of our favorite restaurants along with another one in Akron). The service was disappointing, and the food didn’t meet expectations. I don’t normally write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant prompted me to share my thoughts. The highlight was their homemade pies, which were truly excellent. I would only consider returning for takeout. This place is a hidden gem. The menu is very diverse with no disappointment from seafood lovers. The place is very cozy, you almost feel like you're in someone's home. I HIGHLY recommend you try this place and I overheard an amazing selection of pie as well. P.S. they had all my favorite beer on tap. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was so delicious! Everyone was very nice shared personal stories that made this place so special. I wish this place was closer to Rochester. I think they can make some of the dishes vegetarian.
