My wife and I recently visited akita, japan and we were referred to this small, scenic facility for cocktails. in the business since 1964, this true jewel of a... read more My wife and I recently visited akita, japan and we were referred to this small, scenic facility for cocktails. in the business since 1964, this true jewel of a bar was the highlight of our venture an akita. there were the necessary precautions, and although the social was equally limited, we could find a seat at the bar. the bartender/owner and his assistent were both professional and friendly so they feel as if they were a regular customer. the bar is impeccable with a selection that could rival the best bars in the world. there is an extensive cocktail cocktail menu and watching the expert ply her trading is unforgettable. amazing, cocktails are made with nothing as high quality ingredients. no goodbye here. hand cut clear ice, high-end glassware and over the top otoshi ridiculously delicious. this device is an absolute must visit if they are somewhere near akita. it has the highest recommendation that I can offer.
