This fungus grows in deciduous and coniferous forests, and in tree plantations. It's my favorite mushroom and I discovered them in this restaurant. They put them in almost everything they cook, and I found them in gnocchis, scampi, and tagliatelles with foie gras. I also enjoyed them in risotto with gambas (prawns), and they were melt in your mouth delicious. I would trust this restaurant with everything that they co... View all feedback.
What sophie w doesn't like about Bella Napoli:
We strolled in to this restaurant from the street without checking its T.A reviews. Big mistake. The wine was reasonably priced and fairly nice. To start we tried to order bruschetta to be told there was no bruschetta available at all. Not a problem we decided to just go for a main. I orderdd the bolognase lasagne and ny husband had the 3 p's (pancetta pesto and parmasan) spaghetti. There was no trace of parmasan wha... View all feedback.
One of the worst meals we’ve had as a family. None of us finished our food. My salad was swamped with disgusting dressing , chips were reheated and green on the inside, carbonara sauce out of a bottle and not a good bottle... don’t waste you time or money here.
Five of us were out walking on a Sunday night, looking for a place to eat in Aix. This was one of the few places open and it beckoned with an outdoor patio and many food offerings, including inviting menus. No one sat inside the restaurant and only one table had diners outside. We chose to sit outdoors, and a server came immediately. Four of our group chose steamed mussels with fries and the fifth went for the lamb chops. None of us cared much for the mussels. They proved to be quite small, tough and essentially flavorless. The fries were big and fat, rather than the typical thin and crispy fries usually found in France. The three salads we selected to share were quite average as were the desserts. The service, however, was fine. We have no interest in returning here.
We had following with comment: Pizza: dough too hard/tough Mussles: very small Risotto, not very fresh and overly creamy The menu shows indeed quite a few recipes with 'cepes ' but they were watery... Just OK for the price paid but I would not return. Service was friendly but not very attentive and with tables being not even 30% in use, slow.
Good service, but the lasagna requested was served cold. surprising from a restaurant that is Italian that serves frozen meals. The meal was still good. kind of perfect place for tourists who often present themselves there only once. A little disappointing.
That to say of an Italian restaurant or there is nothing Italian. neither the staff nor the place nor the dishes. the service to be correct and fast and the eggplant gratin very well prepared or not much to say. prices remain correct compared to some restaurants in the city center.
