Great flavors in the sauces, friendly staff, but my tofu in my basil fried rice was extremely dry and almost inedible. The duck was amazing though. Good Thai food for Spokane area. View all feedback.
What Megatron A doesn't like about Sala Thai:
I used to enjoy Sala for years. Recently, I gave it a go three weeks in a row. The first time, I got pad Thai for takeout. The person who took my order sounded distinctly high. The next two times, I called 10-20 minutes after they opened (two calls both times). No one picked up the phone. I read reviews about how they don’t pick up their phone. Sad to part ways with Sala, but it’s not worth the time.

I recently visited this Thai restaurant and had a generally enjoyable experience. I ordered something with the crispy duck, which was absolutely delicious. The duck was perfectly crispy, and the sauce that accompanied it was exceptional. My mom had the fried rice with tofu, and unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown. The tofu was dry and didn't add much to the dish, making the overall experience underwhelming. On a brighter note, I also got a Thai iced tea, which was really, really good. It was refreshing and well-balanced, complementing the meal nicely. The food came out very hot and quite quickly, which was fantastic and added to the overall positive dining experience. Despite the tofu disappointment, I would still recommend this place for its other offerings, especially the crispy duck and Thai iced tea.
Excellent food. I recommend the old man. It’s in the top 5 places to eat in Airway Heights. Very comfortable atmosphere.
Don't be a wimp order 5 stars. Feel the anger of a repressed chili trying to make it in this world. Let your senses erk from sweltering heat. And somehow the dish came through so well passed all the heat.
