Being new to their menu, I decided to try what I thought was a Vegan dish: the Thai Styl... read more I visited Noodlebox in Airdrie, AB for the first time over the weekend. Being new to their menu, I decided to try what I thought was a Vegan dish: the Thai Style Chow Mein Box with the recommended Chow Mein noodles. When asked about allergies or dietary restrictions, I indicated that I had none assuming that the dish I ordered was Vegan, as it was marked with a V on the menu and I requested tofu. However, upon taking a bite, I realized that it contained fish sauce. I asked for a remake as a Vegan dish, which they kindly did at no additional cost. They also informed me that the Chow Mein noodles were not Vegan and offered to substitute with rice noodles or rice. I appreciated the flexibility and generosity in remaking my dish, acknowledging that it was my mistake in ordering. I left feeling grateful and more informed about the Vegan options available. The food was fresh and packed with flavor. Many dishes on the menu can be customized to be Vegan, but be sure to specify your preferences when ordering! (Updated from previous review on 2022-05-02)

I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a variety of vegan options clearly marked on their menu. The prices were fair and the portion sizes were generous. The staff was also very friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future.
