Menu

A comprehensive menu of Pulp Kitchen from Ainslie featuring all 29 dishes and drinks can be found here on the list.

The restaurant offers a creative and delicious menu with options for adventurous eaters and those who prefer a more traditional dish. Diners praised the goat cheese soufflé, lamb tongue, and creme brûlée with Madeline. While some found the main dishes to be on the smaller side and the wine list lacking, the overall experience was still worth the visit. The service received mixed reviews, ranging from attentive and knowledgeable to overcharging on the bill. The renovated "new" Pulp Kitchen has received positive feedback on their food quality and service, although issues with the cooking fume extraction system have been noted. Despite some drawbacks, the restaurant is recommended, especially in warmer weather or during less busy times. Guests have highlighted the delightful flavors of the dishes, excellent dessert options, and top-notch service. While some found the atmosphere crowded and noisy, the standout food offerings continue to draw patrons back.

Was Julie Bernhard at Pulp Kitchen a mag?
I love this little Treasure at the Ainslie shops. Mainly been there for breakfast and absolutely love it. The staff are very friendly and the service is fantastic, you don't wait too long for your meal View all feedback.

What Dakota West dislikes about Pulp Kitchen:
The quality was great but the quantity was terrible... Typed as we're getting maccas on the way home... Very tasty and well presented morsel of food if you're into that sort of thing... and happy to pay for it. View all feedback.

Pretty good, creative menu with deliciously prepared offal for those with a taste for it - or a tender steak and chips if you're more inclined to the middle road. Goat cheese soufflé with beetroot a real winner, as was the lamb tongue. Creme brûlée got top marks, but more for the Madeline served with it....hot from the oven. Service was a bit iffy, as was the wine list, but overall worth the trip across the bridge.

In Canberra for work and came across this gem because it was a short walk from my hotel in Dickson. The service was great, the lamb neck and petite pois delicious. Considering going two nights in a row!

I don't like the atmosphere here, it is a little crowded and noisy for my taste, but I keep coming back for the food. The truffle degustation with matched wines last year is one of my fondest food memories and the brunch menu is amazing.
