I went to France this year in March to visit my friend from the city call Nancy! What a beautiful city! My friend took me to one of the most beautiful restaurant near the lake call Le Pavillon Bleu. I was so glad that my friend took me there at Sunday, because they have live music and tea dance for lunch... Great food, great service, fabulous atmosphere! And we met the owner who lived in NYC before, I think he is fun... View all feedback.
What Mathilde Foucher doesn't like about Le Pavillon Bleu:
cadre sympa , service agréable ... mais s'arrete les compliments ... repas vraiment basique sans aucune saveur !!! un assaisonnement sur la salade , des blancs d'oeufs et des jaunes qui sentent l'eau et non l'oeuf !!! vraiment déçu .Peu vraiment mieux faire !!! du coup reparti reparti sans dessert ni café . Been here twice great place for drinks haven't had chance to order meal or appetizers. Looking forward to trying the meat cooking on spit you see walking into restaurant. We were visiting friends relatives in France, I'm a resident of Florida. Hopefully next time will order food.
We ate here several times during our stay in the countryside outside of Nancy. Let Pavilion Bleu is such an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon or evening that it is obviously very popular with locals. Many of them much be repeat customers based on the warm and familiar welcomes they received on arrival. The food is reasonably priced and expertly prepared. You should try the escargot as an appetizer. The tête de veau or veal head is a treat; it’s tender, meaty and delicious. Try the home made creme brûlée for dessert. On weekend evenings and Sunday afternoons there is live music to entertain you while you eat. This has got to be the happiest place in all of Lorraine. You must go!

I recently visited Nancy in France. While I was there, I had the pleasure to have dinner twice at Le Pavillon Bleu. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dinning, surrounded by nature. The setting of the restaurant was idyllic, lovely, and relaxing. The food is divine. I had stuffed mussels as appetizer; they were freshly cooked and the tomato sauce was incredible tasty. And my entree, pork chop was done to perfection. I had such a good time that I went back there again. I started with the snails with garlic butter which was authentically fantastic. The burger is to die for. It is better than any burgers that I have had in New York City. It was topped with foie gras and thin slices of Granny Smith apple; what a great combination. In addition, the service was excellent and the staff was attentive and I felt like I had been invited to some one's home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who are looking for a nice relaxing ambiance in a fabulous restaurant with excellent food and a nice wine list. I would definitely go back there next time when I'm in Nancy.
Rapport qualité/prix trés moyen. La cuisine et le service sont en baisse notable.Nous avons attendu 1h30 pour avoir notre plat.
