Wing Place

Description

Once a local favorite, this wing spot balances homemade sauces, standout shrimp and a roomy full bar against growing inconsistencies. Cozy booths and friendly bartenders keep regulars returning, but patrons also report shrinking portions, high prices, long waits, lukewarm plates and sporadic drink availability. Service ranges from attentive to inattentive — expect peak-hour delays. Good for casual nights out and bar crowds; temper expectations on speed, temperature and value.

When it first opened, it was great, but it is now over price, quality and the amount of food really went down the hill. Last time I was there, no beer was cold and they had no oranges for my blue moon. The service was terrible. And it's too expensive. I will never go back

I called a pick-up job this afternoon, and when I went in to pick him up, the bartender called me, gave me the entrance to sign me and left me. I waited for a long time while she went to talk to two other gentleman who might have, or did not need, to negate as I was the only one who sat at the bar. Finally, after three of the other servers ended their conversation between themselves at the other end of the bar, one of them noticed that I had waited for a while without help. She asked if I had helped. I told her I paid for food, but the bartender never brought it to me. It sat at the end of the bar (cooled). I was very disturbed and the server could say it. After I left, I wish I had picked up my ticket to take back the top I left.

This place is AWESOME!!! The people are the friendliest. We go so much and order the same thing they automatically bring us our drinks! Now that's what I'm talking about.

I wanted to take some time before writing my review of WingPlace in order to provide a more thoughtful perspective. I don't visit often, usually stopping by every couple of months. Each time, I’ve ordered the boneless wings, but on my latest visit, I was surprised to find that they were the size of nuggets. I have attached a photo for reference. I ended up paying $33 for these 15 "boneless wings," which felt like quite an overcharge for such a small portion. I’m sharing this to help others avoid a similar situation.

The food was delish. Our waitress Dana J was so nice and had great customer service. Would totally recommend eating here. Wheelchair accessibility: Have parking directly in front of the building.
