The food was delicious and affordable. The service could use improvement (peeling paint on the walls) with very few drink choices available. For those dining here for the first time, it is unclear that they need to place their order before being seated and how payment is made afterwards.

This charming breakfast spot is located just a short distance from the horse training trail in Aiken, SC. It exudes true authenticity. If you're looking for a genuine experience, this is the place to be. Unlike the generic chain restaurants, this establishment serves up delicious home-cooked meals with a local flair.

Great place for breakfast: good food and lots of history. The staff was friendly, and the price was very reasonable. Felt like eating in a family kitchen. Don't let the dirt road discourage you the scenery (horses, stables, pastures, etc. alone is worth the drive.

The food is absolutely delicious and the memorabilia on the walls illustrates so many years of friends/workers coming together in Aiken to train some of the best thoroughbreds in the world!!
