Chez Jeannette - Aigues-Vives

Nous étions 4 qui avions choisi le resto des amis, c'est-à-dire chez Jeanette pour un repas midi. Le choix du menu à 20€ était bien acceptable avec entrée, plat, fromage, dessert, 1/4l de vin / personne et café . Le repas était simple mais de toute façon délicieux et tout le monde a bien mangé et est sorti satisfait. Pour le prix, un repas à ne pas manquer. Jeanette elle-même a offert un accueil très chauffant et a été bien gentille! Allez nombreux !

Sur la route et de passage dans ce petit village nous nous sommes arrêtés "Chez Jeannette". Comme d'habitude je regarde les avis sur TripAdvisor avant d'entrer dans un établissement. Les avis étant plutôt sympathiques nous y sommes allés. Et, pas déçu du tout. L'accueil est très sympathique. Le menu à un prix très correct et surtout c'est très bon cuisine comme à la maison. La déco un peu comme chez "mamie". Si vous passez par la, entrez.

This quaint little restaurant with its wonderful food is a must if you are in the area. We had a super lunch there in a gorgeous setting and we'll definitely be back!

No-nonsense Jeannette reigns supreme over this very French and rustic farmhouse kitchen and her menu was limited, but her good homemade food and the wonderful ambience made this lunch unforgettable. Yes, the local wine is a bit rough but our compatriots were all working men who weren't drinking at lunch time and would perhaps enjoy it very much by clocking off time. After an initial greeting to us they got on with their chat and sustenance. Jeannette gave me her phone number as we left. For a taste of the real rural France you can't beat this gem.
