Organic Supermarket Pura Vida - Aguirre

This restaurant offers a wide variety of natural foods and products. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection of kombucha they had available. They also have a great variety of products and spices for Asian, Indian, and other cuisines.

I feel that the restaurant is 99% unhealthy and non-organic. Even the so-called healthy options are packed with sugar, artificial flavors, and other chemicals. There is not even kombucha available. The refrigerator is stocked with sugary drinks, artificial colors, and alcohol. The small selection of organic fruits does not seem to be truly organic or locally sourced. In my opinion, the restaurant should not claim to be organic in any way. It is clear that the owners either lack knowledge about health and organic principles or simply do not care. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

It took nearly an hour to get to this restaurant to purchase organic foods, but the selection of organic products is very limited. For Costa Rica, the options for organic foods are disappointing, as there are more organic options available at the nearby supermarket. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.

Good place for someone with gluten problems such as zöliakie to get special items, but otherwise stay on the regular supermercato and farmer market updated by previous review on 2022-04-11
