Boutique Pão De Barrô - Águeda

We went to the Boutique Pao de Barro for a light dinner. We both ordered a tosta and they were delicious!!! If I could give this 10 stars I would. The tosta with salmon is to die for. I never would have put together such a combination (smoked salmon, feta cheese, rucula and a cherry jam) but it is mouthwatering. My husband ordered the tosta mista especial which is ham and cheese with lettuce and tomato and it also was very good. Their chips are homemade and served in a cute little tin pail. They were nice and crunchy but not greasy. After we ate, the owner took us across the street and showed us where they make their bread. Quite an operation obviously their bread is shipped all over the region. Whenever we are in the area, we will definitely try to include a stop here.

Good atmosphere and decoration, daily newspapers, awesome sandwiches and coffee. Try the salmon sandwich or delicious toasts
