We were in Aguascalientes for just a couple days on business and had one chance for dinner - so glad we stopped at this restaurant!!! We tried a nunber of dishes - oxtail croquettes were amazing. Codillo w/ sauce of Calimoxto also amazing - I later learned what Calimoxto was from my Spanish friend and tried some. Pretty tasty!!! What User doesn't like about Puerta Grande Restaurante:
We were able to get last minute reservations through OpenTable only to discover that the restaurant had closed a half hour prior to our arrival. Rather than apologize and send us on our way, the manager insisted that we stay. The food was amazing and...of course the hospitality made for a special night for my wife and I. We plan to return during normal working hours to enjoy more of their wonderful food. View all feedback.
This was a very pleasant experience. We were in Augascalientes and wanted something other than ribs and tacos and found this gem. The owner Pedro was incredibly attentive to the service that was provided in the restaurant. the quality of the food was superb similar to what one would find would find in the best spanish restaurants in Mexico City. I will be sure to revisit Puerta Grande each time I return to Augascalientes
Fue una experiencia diferente a lo que estaba acostumbrando comer en cuando a comida Española se refiere, específicamente La Paella… Nos atendió personalmente el propietario, un Español muy amable y dispuesto a explicar cada platillo, está por demás decir que la atención del personal fue muy agradable, el sabor como ya lo dije fue diferente pero muy delicioso, sin duda alguna regresaremos en nuestra próxima visita a la ciudad.!!
