Convenient location. The service was decent. The food looked really good but didn’t taste as good as it looked, however still a very pretty place. There is a card charge fee! View all feedback.
What Rachel Quilligan doesn't like about Emili's Pastry Cafe:
Paid $20 for an inedible sandwich. It was supposed to be a panini but was served on stale baguette. Impossible to bite through. Was supposed to have mozzarella, pesto and turkey--it was just turkey and regular cheese, incredibly dry. I got it to-go, else I would've asked for my money back. Straight in the bin. I was sold old pastries with mold spots. While waiting to pay, I saw other pastries in the store with mold, one with a visible hair. The server selected the pastries by hand and did not stop to evaluate the quality of the pastries they were selling. They don't seem to appreciate their customers if they would sell food that could cause their customers to be sick.
