Despite a sudden influx of extra dinner guests the nig... read more I visited this restaurant for a friend's wedding in the first week of September right after storm Daniel. Despite a sudden influx of extra dinner guests the night before the wedding, they served a veritable feast of delicious dishes. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating, including saving 6 of us from getting stranded late at night (note to other visitors: if you need a taxi to Skopelos town get it sorted before 10pm). The beach of course is beautiful, and the wedding decor was lovely and romantic. I highly recommend this restaurant for a meal while visiting the beach.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it due to the extremely aggressive and unprofessional business practices of the taverna that lays claim to the beach. They were booked months in advance to host a wedding dinner. The day before the wedding, they suddenly wanted € 1000 if we wanted to play music, and they apparently hadn't managed to get enough food even with many months to do it which of course could be remedied by paying more than the agreed upon amount. Very unfriendly and aggressive people. Speaking to locals afterwards, they had heard several similar stories. Never book this place for events, and steer away in general if you have any other options.

Terrible experience. My mother and step father had rented tables in this restaurant for their wedding in Skopelos. The day before the wedding the owner tells them that he will charge 1000 euros(! extra to bring their own loudspeakers and play their own music (which was already agreed upon. The same day they informed us that they didn't have the meat that they would serve for the wedding dinner. We checked around and had no problem finding meat other places in Skopelos, including the butchers.
