Fantastic home-made meats, an incredible stuffed burger, the best I've ever eaten without exaggeration, and a delicious juicy steak!! Sophia, Sotiris and Alithini, whom we met, wonderful people, friendly, smiling and animal lovers, welcomed us with joy! As many days as we sat on the island, we ate half of them here!! Anyone who comes to Ikaria for vacation, should definitely come to eat at Sotiris!!!

The first impact was really chilling... a... read more Following Trip 's precious advice, we catapulted ourselves to this place located in a hilly area on the first evening. The first impact was really chilling... at 9pm on Saturday evening being the only customers certainly doesn 't bode well... right from the start the owner who saw us lost, justified herself by telling us that today was like this because that evening they would have played live music due to complaints from a not very tolerant neighbor (I stress... the place is in the middle of a cosmic nowhere!! , but oh well... having said that, we were immediately told that all the dishes on the menu are home made and actually the genuineness of the dishes offered is unquestionable. All good, from vegetables to the various types of meat they offer. Note the undrinkable wine and the wall of bees that rushed on a couple of leftover dishes at lunchtime, which evidently turn out to be more important to them than the customers who sit at nearby tables and rightly may also prefer not to having a swarm of them circling them during dinner...
