Well appointed rooms and a lovely hotel all in all, food is good, very tasty, and breakfast is nice also, I arrived out of season, and they offered me a room fo... read more Well appointed rooms and a lovely hotel all in all, food is good, very tasty, and breakfast is nice also, I arrived out of season, and they offered me a room for a cheaper price, but upon checkout in the morning the price had changed to something higher than i was quoted the evening of arrival. Be aware of this, once they knew where I was from, and saw that I bought an expensive bottle of wine, they suddenly changed the price during my sleep. I'm not stupid, and my memory is very good and intact, so I know they were trying to pull a fast one here, just to make an extra bit of cash. They let me bring my dog there, since nobody else was staying, I think I was the only guest. But be aware of this dishonesty from the owners, it's a shame, as I left with a really bad taste in my mouth, where I come from the customer is always right, and customer service is paramount to any establishment. That being said, I paid the increased price and left, they won't get my business again, and reputation is EVERYTHING! So, perhaps if you are thinking of staying here, and you are unsure of the price, have then write it down first. The language barrier was also used as an excuse, and I find that also unacceptable, numbers are numbers in any language, 5 done even sound like 7, for example!
