I had a lovely stay in the Killeen House Hotel after trekking holiday in the McGillycuddy's Reeks nearby. I stayed with a group and we had 3 rooms. Ours was in the courtyard section which has been recently renovated. Our room was great. Very comfortable, great shower, bed, flat-screen tv and generally all of the comforts you would expect. The price was very good considering the location and time of year. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the food. Rozzer's restaurant is superb. After a long and arduous trek, and a summit earlier that day of Carrauntoohil, our group was delighted to tuck into beautifully presented and delicious food at prices we felt were very reasonable for the quality. The breakfast the following day was delicious. The staff were very friendly helpful. The small bar was cosy the Guinness received the seal of approval of our most demanding pint connoisseur. It's a very pleasant hotel that we found charming.
We were staying at Killeen house for only 1 night and had booked dinner for the latest service 8:30. Unfortunately we arrived late (nearly an hour after). The team was absolutely awesome and very helpful and they still offered us dinner at the amazing Rozzers restaurant. The rooms are spotless and beds gigantic. Breakfast was very good. Thanks for making our stay so special and unique.

This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet picturesque location s minutes drive from Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. The main building dates from the 1840s and was the priory (I believe) for the beautiful church across the road. We stayed 2 nights in a spacious and spotless room in the new wing behind the main building. The superb staff was extremely professional and attentive perhaps the best I've ever experienced.
Excellent hotel, in a great location with really good food and friendly staff.
