Although the menu is limited the food offered is excellent en the service is likewise.

The driving from the coast through the Moon Valley (Valle della Luna) is spectacular. The village of Aggius is possibly my favourite place in Sardinia... well actually Sardinia as a whole is my favourite place ... Aggius is simply beautiful and Il Mosto restaurant is in a pretty street, worth a thousand pictures. The waiter was knowledgeable, professional, but also funny and very pleasant to talk to. The menu is extremely well put together and the food itself was fantastic: amazing quality products, magistrally executed dishes, fantastic atmosphere all along. This is a great find, and as we go to Sardinia one or twice a year, we will definitely be back! If you are in the area don't miss it! If you fancy a drive from anywhere else, you'll love the whole experience!

We... read more Stunning weather and day to travel to Aggius and sample the delights of Il Mosto. Friends had passed through a few years earlier and loved the food and wine. We took a long lazy lunch with friends from New Zealand, and enjoyed the Sardinian flavors and dishes along with some stunning local Red and white wines, selected by Gian Mario. If you want to really try the best of local Sardinian food and matched wines in a warm, friendly place, this is it. Great experience.
