To be fair, the situation is not helped by the work currently being carried out nearby and the fact that the skies were grey. And in all fairness friends of ours have eaten several times here and been satisfied, so it is probably a question of taste and chance.

The elderly waitress took it upon herself to shout at my 84 year old aunt for getting up from our table five minutes after our starters arrived to ask for some bread for our table. When one of our party took it upon herself to question this outrage , the waitress again started shouting at us. Never experienced such offensive disrespectful behaviour in a restaurant.
