Suddenly... read more We had an enjoyable morning and had lost track of time. The weather was lovely and we 'd stopped and had a drink and then been on beach at avant port . Suddenly we realised that it was after 2pm and many French kitchens close around that...time. We did ask very politely and apologetically in French if we could have lunch. The waitress said yes but there is only a choice of mackerell or chicken. We all chose the makerell which was fresh and perfectly cooked, beautifully filleted and served with lightly cooked vegetables. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We were very happy as we have been turned away from restaurants in France when we arrived after 2 pm. We did chat to the staff a little and found them very friendly and helpful. We saw the chef and congratulated him. Can recommend this restaurant!

Three of us: one a nice b... read more On a miserable, windy day sorting out a boat we decided to have a light lunch. No reason particularly to choose here, but glad we did. Three of us: one a nice bowl of Moules, the second a really good steak and for me a...carpaccio of sea bass really good. Inexpensive, wholesome and good staff. Thank you!
