I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant! After staying at the Harrison, we were looking for a more affordable dining option outside of the expensive choices in the resort town. The prices here were reasonable and the food was delicious. View all feedback.
What Elio Marino doesn't like about Jimmy's Pub & Grill:
A friend and I went in for a beer after playing golf, lots of seats and tables to pick from, but to be fair it did pick up afterwards what looked to be a bunch of locals after work maybe!? I cant say I was...to impressed with the young lad serving as we hadn't even sat down when he asked us if we were eating and he had a bunch of $8 sandwiches left over!? Anyways, the beer was cold and wet, fairly priced (happy hour)... View all feedback.
The food was excellent. I had a steak sandwich and my fiancé had the philly cheese steak. The only bad thing I would have to say is the service was really slow and the waitress wasn't too friendly. It took longer than normal to get our food as well.
Went to harrison hotsprings and saw this restaurant with a 4.1 rating so decided to give it a try! Very nice people and good food! (I had the steak special) very cheap too
I think the place opened again after it was closed. The food is very moderate and the service was slow. It is a dipable with dipable. I usually love dipping food, but this meal was pretty bad. I had the chicken tacos and they were 99% salad and 1% chicken. The tough Taco shells come from the grocery store. The prices were very high for what you get. Wife had fried chicken pliers and they were $14 for 6 pieces half the size of chicken nuggets at micky D's. Maybe we go back to see if it's still terrible, but not for a while. Don't waste your time.
We recently stopped in Agassiz for a quick break and lunch on our way to Harrison Hot Springs. It was a warm day and we decided to check out 'Jimmy's Pub' for a refreshing drink and a snack. We were greeted warmly and shown to a nice table by the front window. The service was friendly and quick, with our drinks arriving promptly. We ordered a huge plate of nachos that was piled high with chips, tomatoes, olives, cheese, green onions, jalapenos, and two dipping sauces on the side. The food was delicious, although some bites were quite spicy! Overall, we had a great experience at 'Jimmy's Pub' and it was a relaxing stop for us in Agassiz. Note: The restaurant will soon be changing its name and customers are invited to suggest names on a survey by the service counter.
We stayed just before noon, early last week in Agassiz, for a 'stop, walkabout and lunch' on the way to Harrison Hot Springs. It was a very warm day on the jump, and 'Jimmy's pub ' seemed like the right place to catch a 'cool' rest stop, with drinks and 'snack' lunch. It was a first experience for us. Once inside, after a short look over, a large table back and next to the front window, grabbed our attention and worked well for the stay. Service was prompt and personal friendly. Drinks quickly arrived (OK Springs caught Ales for daughter I, ice water for mom, were cool and refreshing and allowed us to relax before the food arrived. We ordered a complete order of 'nachos', which is quite huge, and well stacked with various types of tortilla chips, chopped tomatoes, cut olives, cheese, cut green onion Jalapeno Paprika, and those with two diving sauce (sour cream a salsa on the side. We enjoyed our experience in 'Jimmy 's Pub' service was friendly, drinks cool refreshing, food tastefully delicious (and 'ouch', a touch spicy at times too!! A relaxed stop for us in Agassiz. *Note* this facility will have a name change, soon customers have contributed to a contribution, what we should call our local survey on the left on the service counter.
