Theresa the bartender is the best host!! Her apple pie shots are out of this world! A must do if you are in the Afton area!

The bartender/owner is unfriendly and doesn 't have the charm nor patience to be running a bar. We asked for Bloody Mary 's and she informed us she doesn 't make Bloody Mary 's after noon (it was 12:30 and all the makings were right in front of her) therefore, we asked for Greyhounds and she informed is she didn 't have any grapefruit. My Mother diligently had her credit card out on the bar to pay for our drinks way ahead of time...come pay time Shelley adamantly stated "we don 't take credit cards! Not a very great bar. Debra C. Drink... read more What you see is what you get and you get a great time : We stopped in Afton on the way to Jackson on a road trip and hung out at the cowboy bar for a bit. Drinks are super reasonably priced and the bartender we had was so much fun. The conversation definitely had us staying there longer! Not fancy, very authentic. If we ever find ourselves in Afton again we will definitely be back.

The pri... read more I forgot to bring my phone for pictures, but I wanted to share my experience at this low-key bar. The woman working that night was excellent at her job. The prices were affordable, and the drinks were great. Plus, they give you $5 to use on the jukebox if you want to play some music. We intended to just have one drink but ended up staying for three hours! It’s a fantastic spot to hang out, and the pool table is free to use. They offer chips and pizza, and you can even order food from the restaurant next door. It's also dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus!
