The Roots is located in the middle of the village center of Affoltern am Albis. We went to the terrace to have a drink. The service is friendly and the prices are okay. However, I don't understand that nowadays you can only pay with a card in a bar/restaurant starting at CHF 20.00. This should definitely be changed. View all feedback.

You are not welcome in this restaurant. I wanted to go drinking with a few colleagues on Tuesday. The restaurant had about 2 tables occupied. I sat down at an empty table and the waitress said if I didn't eat anything I would have to get up and it would still be free to go to the lounge. They probably don't need it, cheeky arrogant service. Latte Machiatto is no longer available at 8 p.m. because the coffee machine has already been cleaned?? on a Saturday evening??
