The hook and anchor - Advocate Harbour

Loved the food here, great service. The food is exactly what you need after a hike in advocate, hits all the right spots. Comfortable atmosphere. Great lemonade and pie, and the fried chicken is delicious.

We ate here twice when we visited Advocate Harbor. It is totally under rated and doesn't look like much. No kidding, the seafood chowder is the best we had in our 11 days in Canada and we had it somewhere different every day. The clam strips are outstanding and the fish and chips are also excellent. When you drive up you will wonder if you have the right place but if the cooks are the same as we had you will not be disappointed!!!

The locals are lined up to get in. Which is always a very good sign. The lobster rolls are incredible. It may be because the owner is a lobster fisherman, as far as we understand. The seafood side is amazing. The land lubber side is pretty good, but fairly standard burgers or club sandwiches and fries. Not cheap but not too pricey. Great tables (inside and out). Plus it is part of a campground, so there are lots of play structures and the like around for the kids.

This was a really cute little seafood place located within a campground. It only has about half a dozen tables but the fish and chips and lobster rolls are delicious. Quaint and cozy. This is a great stop for a quick bit of local cuisine.

Fantastic food! Best lobster roll around hands down. Amazing clams and fish. Everyone must give this place a try. Staff are fantastic and friendly. Seating is limited so think about a reservation. Causal family style restaurant.
