What chris ford dislikes about Drury In The Square:
Over priced sausage and bacon baguette. Charged more for a baguette than a sandwich and half the amount of filling. Poor show I didn't hang up. I wasn't rude. A sausage sandwich has two sausages in. A more expensive baguette had one. Please explain the reason for this. View all feedback.

Absolute s#@t hole. Rude owner, needs to get a gum reduction to start with before being rude to customers. Hair in the food, complained about it and told its mine, I'm not blonde neither is my partner. Awful place. Would not recommend.
Went for lunch here. Good, friendly service. Fresh, well presented food. Drinks were tasty too! Worth a visit.
Really good coffee shop! Staff were really friendly and make great coffee!
Brilliant and friendly staff, all really happy and welcoming Great quality food and lovely coffee
Came here on the recommendation of a friend due to the area having many breakfast spots. I ordered the Drury breakfast which is basically a full English for around 9 pounds. It does not come with a drink so I ordere a tea which make the price just over 11pounds. For this it was an average breakfast, the bacon was ok, eggs were not runny and the hash browns not crispy. The actual place was quite cozy there were many people eating but ample seating. The food came out fast and the service was great. I might comeback but not for the breakfast. My dog was taken care of and she enjoyed my leftover sausage.
The café received mixed reviews for its coffee quality, with some customers disappointed by excessive froth and poor listening skills. However, others praised the delicious fish and chips, friendly service, and efficient takeout service. The quaint atmosphere and affordable prices were also highlighted by satisfied patrons. Overall, the café seems to have potential, with room for improvement in terms of consistency and attention to customer requests. Despite some shortcomings, the café remains a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a variety of menu options and a welcoming environment.

I love the coffee at Drury – my favourite location in Southwick. The presence of this business really adds a lovely vibe to the square. Highly recommend a little visit to locals.
I regularly visit this cafe on my lunch breaks as I work nearby and can safely say its one of my favourite places to grab a bite and a drink. The prices are reasonable, the coffee is AMAZING and everyone is so friendly. The owner...also makes the best gluten free cakes! This place is child friendly, dog friendly and full of smiles. I cannot wait for it to reopen properly so I can sit inside and watch the world go by. So happy this family run shop has survived the pandemic and urge anyone to give this place a visit.
My daughter went into the cafe and ordered me a latte and said no froth. Came out to the car and the coffee was a third froth. I took the coffee back and said my daughter said no froth but it has a lot of...froth and its also luke warm. The lady behind the counter said she didnt make it but would make another. She made another and i got into the car and AGAIN IT WAS FULL OF FROTH. If i wanted froth i would welcome it but i dont like it so i asked for it without. Simple request. Why dont the staff listen and people will return. The coffee i have had there previously is usually great but today it was poor quality and i was not given what i politely asked for. Barista think that heating the milk and banging the milk jug on the counter eliminates froth but no it doesnt. Thats just a method for lazy baristas who dont want to pick up a spoon to stop the froth going in the coffee or getting the spoon and removing the froth from the coffee once it is made. I would just be nice if the both the people who made the coffee today listened to what the customer wants and makes it accordingly and then everyone is happy. I gave them the opportunity to rectify the issue and received the same result as the first coffee. VERY POOR LISTENING SKILLS AND COFFEE MAKING SKILLS. The sandwiches are great there though
Fantastic sandwiches too. Great choice, reasonably priced. Nothing to dislike, as a coffee shop should be. Dog friendly.

The food at this restaurant is impeccably cooked and stands out as one of the best on the South Coast. After trying many other options in the area, we found that the quality at this restaurant far surpassed the rest. Thank you for the excellent service.
