If you make only one stop along Route 66, this is the one you can't miss! There are fantastic photo opportunities, and the pie is absolutely delicious—especially the bourbon-spiced apple variety, which I highly recommend! View all feedback.

I'm generally quite selective when it comes to the quality of food.

The restaurant had just one waitress and one cook, but we received outstanding service. The cook personally brought our food to the table and took the time to chat with us. Both the cook and the waitress were incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

The staff here are incredibly friendly and greet you as soon as you step inside. The café is clean and features some fascinating decor, including an old jukebox. We tried the mid-point burger, and it was huge! The café is located right on the Route 66 mid-point line, providing plenty of photo opportunities. I highly recommend this café for a meal or just a drink. There's also a gift shop attached, filled with interesting items for sale, but there's no pressure to visit it if you don't want to.

Midpoint Cafe is an amazing place to visit during your Route 66 trip! More than just a quirky stop, they serve one of the biggest double cheeseburgers I’ve ever seen, and they also have a Black Bean burger, which was a perfect choice for my vegetarian wife. Both meals were tasty and affordable! Though they don’t offer French fries—probably because they don’t have a deep fryer—they provide a variety of bagged chips as a nice alternative. The server was polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed despite being short-staffed, which is common nowadays. Inside, there’s a gift shop, and outside you’ll find plenty of great photo ops, including the Route 66 halfway marker on the street and a sign. This is a must-stop spot on your historic Route 66 journey, or anytime you’re hungry and looking for a satisfying meal!
