The Tearoom was very busy this afternoon. There was only one waitress, but she did an amazing job taking care of everyone. Quiche was a little too brown on top but very flavorful. Will definitely continue to visit this local establishment. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was truly excited to try one of the few remaining tea rooms in southeast Michigan. My bestie treated me to Afternoon Tea for my birthday. The atmosphere and decor were lovely, but I was surprised it was so empty. Regardless, we were ready to enjoy a lovely tea. I firstly have to say the service was impeccable. The tea (cinnamon orange spice) was amazing! After that, it 's about the food. Sadly, we were soooo disappointed. The spinach quiche was absolutely and completely tasteless (spinach was quite watery) and the bacon quiche was okay . Both were crustless and (I may be wrong here) but tasted as though they had been heated in a microwave. The scone was quite flat and hard and was served with a choice of either jam, curd, or devonshire cream. I 've never experienced a scone that did not include both jam and cream. The sandwiches were okay, but nothing special and the desserts were okay not great and tiny. We had hoped to make this our new go to for birthdays, etc, but I am sad to say we have crossed it off our list.
