We came across this fantastic restaurant after doing a hot lap in a race BMW around the Nordschleife at the world famous Nurburgring. We were staying in Nurburg... read more We came across this fantastic restaurant after doing a hot lap in a race BMW around the Nordschleife at the world famous Nurburgring. We were staying in Nurburg but not much was open there that evening so we drove the short distance to Adenau and happened upon this charming trattoria there. Set in a beautiful, large chalet-like building on the edge of town we were quickly won over by the decor and the friendly staff. The meals other diners had looked delicious and everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves. After being seated we were quickly met by Mauri the owner who is the epitome of hospitality and manners. We had a fantastic meal with numerous courses and enjoyed Mauri's company and advice. We were quickly becoming friends! Highly recommend!!!
