I wandered in from Victoria Square for a cup of tea and to do some work, and had such a great welcome with cheerful staff that I also ordered a sandwich, which was made exactly as I asked with really tasty, fresh ingredients. The place was having some work done but the staff member let me use the staff toilet and let me have my sandwich and a bottle of water for free to apologise for the disruption! Very caring staff... What User doesn't like about Wow Cafe:
We went to this restaurant when it first opened for breakfast and it was good. However, when we returned the next day, the chef had taken over as the barista and the coffee was so bad that none of us could even drink it. View all feedback.

Very caring staff and great service, would definitely come her again just for the atmosphere from the staff. Great place to get e-mails done alone or for couples or families looking for a snack in the centre of town.
We were recently in Adelaide staying at the Peppers on Waymouth Street hotel. After the first mornings disappointing hotel breakfast (at a charge of $29 per person) we decided to wonder the street looking for a better breakfast / lunch option. We came across WOW Café and were made to feel welcome the moment we set foot inside. We ordered a breakfast of banana bread and poached egg on toast, a tea and a OJ - this was served up promptly and professionally and at a cost of a mere $18.00.The next day we called in for lunch instead. Ordered sandwiches, tea and an OJ - again we got exactly what we asked for from friendly helpful staff. Why would anyone want a second rate breakfast at a 4.5 star hotel when you can eat here? There was no kids handling the food and then putting it back. There was no shortage of options. And there was no ridiculous charge per head!We visited these premises 4 or 5 times during our stay and next time we are in Adelaide, we will go there again.I can only say great things about this café - please give it a try.
