Star House Chinese Restaurant

We visited on a busy Saturday night. The lobster with egg noodles was very tasty, although the lobster meat was a bit tough and chewy which may have indicated it was not the freshest. The pepper steak had great flavor and seasoning, but there were more bones in the steak than I anticipated. Overall, it was a delicious meal and I would recommend it. Parking in the area was a bit of a hassle, but we were able to find street parking two blocks away.

This lovely Chinese restaurant located in Adelaide's CBD offers friendly service, incredible food made with fresh seafood, and attentive staff. Our experience was excellent, although the prices were a bit high. However, it's understandable considering the current inflation.

A close friend and I ordered a large variety of dishes for lunch (Yum Cha) and each one was tasty and diverse. The standout dishes were the salt and pepper squid, beef pastry, pork buns, and shallot cakes. This wasn't my first visit and it certainly won't be my last. However, the service may not be exceptional.

No complaints. Food was yummy. Staff are hard workers. Their boss should commend them and appreciate them. Fair price$. Will go back to try out more on the menuThank you.

This is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Adelaide. The seafood was fresh, S&P coating was very well seasoned and fried and super crunchy! My husband even liked the fried rice with pork floss though slightly different from the conventional SFR, was still very delicious and unique. The pork belly in claypot melted in your mouth and had the right level of saltiness. Service was very quick too considering how full the restaurant was. I would've preferred a lower noise level, but food was tasty enough to cover up the noise. : Highly recommended.
