Shu Tang Chinese - Adelaide

Great food and atmosphere. My wife and I spent 4 months a year in China for over 9 years. The food in Shu tang is authentic and delightful. The chilifish felt like in Chengdu. I love this place.

We had a desire for the Szechuan fish in hot chilli oil... and this place did not disappoint! Also amazingly cold chicken in peanut chili sauce. Delicious sauce... eating here is so good! Good service, friendly staff. We were fed and happy for the first meal of the year!

I recommend all spicy food lovers come to this restaurant! If you are not, you can still enjoy other non-soft dishes. They're all amazing. Service team is really friendly and helpful with customers. Also the manager is a friendly gentleman, not as hard as the comment already says. Not sure if he is the same:

I think this maybe one of the best Chinese cuisine in Adelaide. Like nice and taste very delicious. The price is mediocre and accommodating. The dishes presented look very nice... the waiters are nice but giving us customers privacy. Would certainly come here later sometimes.

Shu Tang met my high expectations when four of us had dinner here on Monday night 21/06/2021. This restaurant is perfect for entertainment with its impressive high ceilings, elegant interiors, private rooms and ample two-storey seats. We ordered seven dishes to go with steam rice and although no dish was so excellent that it could be called a famous signature dish, each dish was very well cooked and completely delicious. The Shanghainesian onion pancake is thin and crispy and probably the best in Adelaide. We enjoyed the dinner very much and will be back.
