Plus 82 Mimi - Adelaide

Today for lunch, I indulged in a delightful Korean restaurant called Mimis on Sturt St in the city. I have dined here multiple times and finally decided to leave a review because the food is always exceptional! Craving sliders (my weakness), I opted for the $15 lunch special which included Korean Fried Chicken Sliders with Kohl and Kimchi Slaw. The sliders arrived quickly, beautifully presented with two mini burgers alongside a basket of fries on adorable red and white paper. I loved the bamboo skewer holding the sliders together, topped with a caperberry for a burst of salty tartness that perfectly balanced the rich burger. The crispy chicken, shredded cabbage, and carrots on the soft brioche buns created a symphony of flavors and textures with each bite. The seasoned chicken paired perfectly with the creamy kimchi, creating an explosion of taste that was simply delightful yet elegantly simple. This restaurant continues to impress with its consistently amazing and delicious food that never disappoints. I have always enjoyed the fusion of Korean cuisine with a cool and modern twist at Mimis. A must-visit for anyone looking for a hidden gem of a restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was incredible and tasty. If you want to experience authentic Korean cuisine, you must visit this place. I tried the bulgogi steak, spicy tofu stew, and truffle tteokbokki, and they were all delicious. The staff was very friendly. This restaurant is perfect for a family outing or a romantic date because the ambiance was fantastic. I will definitely come back to this restaurant again!

We had an amazing dinner at Mimi this week. I wasn't sure what to expect from modern Korean cuisine, but I was pleasantly surprised. Stephen and his team were very charming and provided excellent service. I appreciated that they only charged $10 for corkage fee for bringing my own alcohol-free wine. The food was outstanding! The photos speak for themselves - the presentation was flawless and the flavors and quality were sublime. You must try it.

We had a perfect date dinner! The food is delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you very nice staff that you are so friendly and offer us a special moment. We forgot to photograph the food.

Wow! A six star experience. Inside the enigmatically named Plus 82 MiMi (I'm sure there is a story is a cool space people'd by very friendly wait staff. We went mostly vegan with a bit of fish. Kimchi pancake was divine, without the bitter edge kimchi sometimes has. The raw salmon was delicate. The vegan KFC (Korean Fried Chicken see what they did there! was completely wonderful. The bibimbap was perhaps the least successful it is nice to have it in a heated dish to keep the rice caramelizing. It was still good, though, and complemented the KFC and lovely greens. Pear and granola dessert was very good, but perhaps needed something to complement the textures. Wine options were all good. It is immediately on the list to go back to.
